Assisted Living Memory Care

Beyond Independent Living

We believe that Seniors should “age-in-place” and prefer to remain in their own community near family, friends, church and healthcare providers. They need to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their declining capabilities. We also aim to be advocates on their behalf and believe it is our responsibility to provide a care approach based on Christian values. Our proposed facilities will allow our independent residents to remain at The Meadows as their health circumstances potentially change.

Assisted Living
Providing Personal Care Support Services

Sandalwood Terrace will be the home of The Meadows’ assisted living residences which will offer a comprehensive senior care living environment option to provide personal care support services such as meals, medication management, bathing, dressing and transportation.

A total of 60 Assisted Living units, comprised of 54 studio suites and six one-bedroom units will be built on the second floor of our Phase 2 expansion. An Adult Day Program is also being planned to run in the proposed Samaritan Centre.

Memory Care
Building a Comfortable, Safe and Secure Environment

Oakdale Manor, our Memory Care facility is being designed to provide a comfortable, safe and secure environment with an advanced level of care that seeks to slow the onslaught of dementia. It is our aim to provide a new standard in cognitive disease care.

Using the most current of medical approaches, our Memory Care facility aims to offer individualized care that considers the unique needs of each resident. Dieticians will develop specialized and timely meal plans to suit the resident’s regimen. Activities will be offered to benefit the resident’s physical wellness and mental acuity, while medications will be strictly monitored and administered by health-care professionals. Our partnership team of doctors, nurses, therapists and caregivers will aim to provide constant care and attention and employ best practices in dementia care from around the world.

20 units are being planned for our Memory Care Wing which will be housed on the first floor of our Woodland Towers’ West Tower.
