Supportive Living at The Meadows—beyond Independent Living
We believe that Seniors prefer to remain in their own community near family, friends, church and healthcare providers. This age-in-place philosophy is at the heart of the Meadows of Aurora foundational vision. Everyone needs to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of declining health and capabilities. We aim to be advocates on behalf of our community of residents and believe it is our responsibility to provide a care approach based on Christian values. Our campus facilities allow independent residents to remain at The Meadows as life unfolds.
A Range of Personal Care Support
Sandalwood Terrace is the home of our 60 assisted living suites where a comprehensive range of tailored senior care services are provided. This includes three gourmet meals daily in an elegant dining room overlooking our pond, housekeeping, medication management and other personal support. Care is provided by a highly qualified team of healthcare professionals and a full Wellness Centre team is focused on the specific needs of each resident.
Comfortable, Safe and Compassionate Care
Oakdale Manor is the newest section of our growing Meadows campus and it has been designed to deliver an advanced level of cognitive care. Using the most current of medical approaches, our 7/24/365 team delivers specialized care that considers the unique needs of each resident. Dieticians develop personal meal plans to suit each resident’s needs. Activities are tailored to benefit the resident’s physical wellness and mental acuity, while medications are strictly monitored and administered by our onsite health-care professionals.
The collective mission of our team of doctors, nurses, therapists and caregivers is to provide constant care and attention and to employ best practices in dementia care. Oakdale Manor contains 20 suites specifically designed for this advanced level of care.
