We were incorporated as a nonprofit organization on October 24, 2005.

No, Board Directors are volunteers. The directors are dedicated to the concept of developing homes for Christian seniors.

Our primary goal is to enable Christian seniors to “age in place”. We believe our seniors prefer to remain in their community near family, friends and their church.

The amenities will increase as various building phases develop. At the present time we offer a fitness room, party and family rooms and a games room. Our new Phase 2 will offer a fitness room, restaurant and bistro, library and wellness centre. We will also provide hairdresser services and a tuck shop.

At the present time support services are arranged with other service providers. The Meadows is located amongst the finest amenities in the area and many services are readily and immediately available.
Phase 2 will also feature our community’s “town square” area which, as The Meadows grows and develops over the coming years, a host of potential lifestyle amenities are envisioned. They include: a welcoming central lobby area, a bistro, inviting and cozy lounge areas, public and private dining rooms, healthcare facilities, fitness and wellness centre, hair care services, offices, meeting rooms, and an unique multi-purpose auditorium for worship, gatherings, exhibitions and community events.

Once finished, we aim to offer multiple levels of care to enable you to remain at The Meadows.

No, we ask that all residents become a member and by signing our Membership Form you agree that you respect our Christian principles.

Yes, the activities are organized by Resident Council and individual residents.

We require a $10,000 deposit to reserve your suite for the 14 day grace period. We then ask for a down payment of 30 percent of the price of the suite less the $10,000 deposit 45 days after signing of Reservation Agreement. Remainder due at closing of suite.

Yes, the amount is based on square footage. It includes your proportionate share of the Property Taxes as well as heat/air conditioning and water. The suites are sub metered for hydro which is paid separately.
