Exploring Nature In Our Backyard

When residents move into their new homes at The Meadows, they are aware of our paved walking path around our backyard natural pond. What they actually discover is a larger network of walking trails adjacent to The Meadows to the west and south of our property. This town trail, managed by Ducks Unlimited, provides forty-five minutes of walking through an absolutely incredible forest and across beautiful wetlands on raised boardwalks. The covered observation deck provides a view of the wetland areas and a variety of wildlife living in the protected green space. During warmer weather months, groups of residents walk the trail system for exercise, social time and to simply take in the amazing sights and sounds of nature and God’s creation.
